Cycle 17 of America’s Next Top Model:A Blast from the Past
In a release from the CW, it was announced that, “An all-star cast of fan favorites and outrageous personalities from past cycles will return to compete in America’s Next Top Model cycle 17 on Wednesday, Sept. 14.”
Up for grabs this time around are a “campaign with the Express fashion brand; a chance to be a guest correspondent on the hit newsmagazine show Extra; a fashion spread in Vogue Italia; and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics.” Read more

Standing as a creative avenue, Fashion Watch continues to be the much-awaited series that brings to the forefront fresh new talent through an exciting fashion event. 2011 marks the revival of Fashion Watch, the much raved about fashion series is back for good, amped up and better than ever!
A project of the CFDP (Council of Fashion Designers of the Philippines) Fashion Watch 2011 will run from April to November 2011, featuring 19 of the country’s most notable designers, each showcasing a brand new collection. Each week, the show will feature the collection of two designers in back-to-back format.

FASHION WATCH QUARTET 2011 FEATURING LULU TAN-GAN and JC BUENDIA
LULU TAN-GAN. In the Philippine fashion scene, Lulu Tan-Gan’s name has been synonymous with KNITWEAR since 1985. In a tropical country such as the Philippines, knits were traditionally perceived as stuffy and boring. Only a keen and gutsy designer would see beyond this façade and actually create pieces for the expatriates & tourist that come to Manila & for the jet-set Filipinos that travel to cooler destinations. FASHION WATCH QUARTET 2011 FEATURING LEN NEPOMUCENO
LEN NEPOMUCENO is a Filipino fashion designer who specializes in bridal gowns and evening wear. She is a member and currently the Vice-President of the prestigious Fashion and Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP). Len is one of the few top designers that were commissioned to create fashions for the iconic Barbie doll to raise funds for a Ballet Philippines auction for the benefit of their scholars. Len’s collection for Fashion Watch is about the early start of spring, where colors are starting to change from heavy fall-winter to light and airy spring-summer. Her design inspiration is NEW BEGINNINGS with colors such as honeysuckle for lifting spirits, peony as a romantic attachment and silver clouds for quintessential classics. Read more
